NJC Road Run 2008 today. No doubt tiring (though I didn't run) but it was all so worth it! Well done everyone! And a special Well done to Lignum! Second!! :D
Woke up extra early to be in school by 7. But turns out Xinru and I didn't have anything to do until after assembly. Gave out number tags, ran round and round looking for people during the road run, ran once with the sweepers just for fun, cheered, got sunburnt. Man, it was really really hot out there today. Especially towards the end, poor j2s had to run under sweltering heat. Haha. And collecting those electronic number tags back was no joke, spent hours counting, taking out safety pins, arranging and all. Finally finished everything at 12 plus and us trackers were so famished we were practically crying out for food. Thank God for the leftover cake the twin's class didn't manage to finish. HAHA.
Soo the whole lot of us namely Joce, Chris, Cheok, Ching, Shalom, Grace, Yu and I made our way down to Suki Sushi at Cine for fabulous lunch! Grace and Yu joined their class while the rest of us just plonked ourselves down next to the twins and Cheok's class and ordered so much food. Can't even remember the number of servings of salmon sashimi we ordered. Haha! Well it was a buffet and we were hungry! :D The time spent there was seriously unforgettable. Like Ching and her post-it on the conveyer belt where all the food goes by. HAHA. Laughed like mad, ate like mad. Then went to watch Jumper! Ching's treat! :D Nice show with a sucky ending though. I wish I could jump like him. Then I'd be able to visit all the countries I wanna. :D
Urgh I'm still feeling the effects of the buffet just now. The countless number of plates we had, the long awaited cream puffs and all the juice. Gonna take alot of running to put all that off. Time to train man! :D
