Chinese A levels are two days away, and I haven't even read through my ke ben. Panicpanicgaspgasp. YEAH RIGHT. Hahah!
I've been thinking alot about how people work for money and not for what they love. People take up jobs so that they can earn heaps of cash, but at the end of the day, they're so tired out and frustrated with what they've been doing and they just simply can't enjoy their money-filled lives.
What's wrong with taking up a job that earns just enough to get by, if it's truly what you love?
Maybe I say this a little too soon, since financial management isn't an integral part of my life yet. Maybe later on in life I'd think differently, when I really need whatever money I can make
But as of now, I'd love to work as a nature park ranger just roaming the mountains and bringing small groups of people and showing them the beauty of my backyard, regardless of the low pay and harsh working conditions. As long as the pay is enough to sustain me, I'd work for this one thing I love. For as long as my health doesn't fail me. Maybe even zookeeping, scraping through life with whatever I earn from caring for animals. Maybe even a freelance photographer, taking pictures all day and earning meagre amounts just enough to put proper food on my table and enough to put a shelter over my head.
After all, I really think work should be about what you love. Studies should also be what you love. I'd study what I love even though the prospective job scope may be narrowed with my choice of subject.
What's the point of all this money? Might as well use your life in ways that you will enjoy. These materialistic things, after all, would be non-existant in God's Heavenly Realm, whichever God you may choose to believe in. Working is such a huge part of adult life, why not enjoy it while it lasts? Maybe that's why I should leave for NZ. There's nothing here for me.

I probably opened this page at say. 12.20am. But it's already 12.40am now and I just typed my first sentence. Haha. Shows how determined I am to blog.
Woohoo. It's 1am and I've started typing the second paragraph. Ohkay enough.
So much has happened since I last (really) blogged. Promos, results day, games day, going out, PW, handing in WR, Bintan and so on. But there's one thing I've taken out from all these:
The future, as much as I don't want it to be, is uncertain.
Ponderponderponder Thinkthinkthink.
I promise to study during the holidays.
I really, really want to go diving again.
Ahh, my mind is rather jumbled.
Byebye.

My timetable for the past week:
Wake up, get to school, study, balance when we get tired of studying, then back to studying. Go home, have dinner, study, sleep. Wake up, get to school, study, balance when we get tired of studying.. Slot tuition in between and yes, that's what my September holidays have been. No doubt it's been pretty fun here and there, but having to study offsets all fun and kills.
Balancing. Haha, oh, the fun. Refer to Aiman's blog for (alot) more pictures.
